Tech Lead

Tenacio is a B2B API platform for digital verification and financial data services, built for India's BFSI ecosystem. We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to own our backend architecture end to end and set the technical direction for a small, high-ownership engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Node.js/TypeScript API services handling high-throughput, multi-tenant public APIs with enterprise-grade contract management
• Manage third-party integrations, including vendor failover and financial data reconciliation
• Design and optimise MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas, with performance tuning as a first-class concern
• Administer AWS infrastructure, containerized workloads, and serverless functions via infrastructure-as-code
• Establish CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with environment promotion and rollback built in
• Implement security protocols — IAM, secrets management, and ISO 27001/DPDP Act compliance

What we're looking for

• Production-scale Node.js/TypeScript and REST API expertise
• Strong AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD knowledge
• Proficiency with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Applied application security understanding
• Self-driven ownership, comfortable guiding a team and engaging directly with clients

Nice to have

• VAPT or ISO 27001 audit experience
• DevOps and AWS/Cloudflare hands-on expertise
• Fintech or other regulated-data domain background
• React frontend competence
